Nom de l'équipe : Mechanisms of repression by Polycomb Proteins.
Thématique de l'équipe (< 10 lignes) : We are interested in understanding the mechanism of action of the polycomb machinery. Polycomb proteins are required to maintain gene silencing during development and at the adulthood. Polycomb proteins are supposed to function mostly through the regulation of chromatin structure. How are the different polycomb complexes modifying the chromatin orchestrated? How are those complexes targeted to specific loci of the chromatin? What are the consequences of the reported alterations of this machinery in pathologies such as cancer? Using in vivo and in vitro approaches, we are trying to address some of those questions.

Protein Purification, enzymatic assays, chromatin reconstitution, in vitro transcription, Chip-seq, gene expression profiles, Electronic Microscopy, mouse models, cell culture.
